Discovering the law of object’s mass doing work

Mechanism-Revealed Physics (1/40) ------ by Bingcheng Zhao

The law of object’s mass doing work (OMDW): OMDW is the inseparable property of an object’s mass when the object’s kinetic energy is being increased or decreased by the action of external force. When the kinetic energy of an object is increased by the action of external force due to it doing positive work on the object, the object’s mass does positive work, thus the object releases (i.e., loses) the same amount of energy as that of the work done by the object’s mass from and by consuming of its mass. Therefore, an object’s mass doing positive work causes a corresponding decrease in the object’s mass. On the contrary, when the kinetic energy of an object is decreased by the action of external force due to it doing negative work on the object, the object’s mass does negative work, thus the object gains the same amount of energy as that of the work done by the object’s mass from and by converting the decreased kinetic energy into its mass. Therefore, an object’s mass doing negative work results in a corresponding increase in the object’s mass (P. 93 ~ 109, Ch.1A, reference #1). A newly established equation of OMDW law is on P. 102 as Eq (1-6)(Ch.1A, reference #1).

The newly discovered OMDW law has been fundamentally verified through its revealing the mechanism behind the greatest equation (i.e., E = mc^2 or E0 = mc^2) in the history of physics and science (P. 114 ~ 118, 1.6, Ch.1B, reference #1).

How to understand OMDW law. (1) The core principle of OMDW law is: the amount of energy in the mass of an object is measured and determined by the amount of the work done by the object’s mass (*note for comparison, in classical physics, the energy of an object is measured and determined by the object’s ability to do work). (2) The very proven fact that mass possesses energy is very helpful to understanding of the concept of OMDW law. (3) Please think over the two concepts at the same time: mass has energy; mass has the ability of doing work. (4) You can contemplate conversely if necessary: if mass did not have the ability to do work, it would be scientifically groundless to say that mass contains energy; any denial of OMDW law is the denial of the fact that mass has energy.

The fundamental significance of OMDW law in science: OMDW law establishes the work-energy relation in the mass of an object, reveals the conversion mechanism between mass and energy, and mechanistically thus essentially unifies force, mass and energy for the first time in the history of physics and science. As a result, OMDW law lays the fundamental foundation for the coming era of mechanism-revealed physics.

The highly pragmatic value of OMDW law: OMDW law is fundamentally indispensable to solving the scientifically profound problems of dark matter, dark energy, and the Higgs boson (P. 560 ~ 567, 5.7, Ch.5C, reference #1; P. 783 ~ 786, 7.6, Ch.7B; P. 824 ~ 829, 8.5.2, Ch.8B, reference #2).
The great application value of OMDW law: OMDW law lays the fundamental foundation for developing energy by releasing the ability of mass doing work, and this energy capacity is enormously large (P. 912, 10.3.1, Ch.10, reference #2).
